1. Since so many of you missed my cat photos I’m now sharing with you one I never published before. Hope you like. ^^

  2. Near the end, just like in the movies, my friends and family came to the rescue and didn’t let this happen. :,)

The plot twist: My mother found a way, in the very last minute, for me to be able to go to Porto and spend a few hours with some of my friends. ^^

I started the morning with some meditation in the beach (see pic for the lovely winter view I had). Then headed to meet Fernando and Sandro.

In the time I spent with them I learned how to spell Camelot properly (which amused me to pieces, obviously, because I’m 12) and that there is such a thing as a shared online experience of me (i.e. they both complained about my ninja mode all the time on Gtalk - it was cute).

We geeked out a lot about Doctor Who, super heroes, mouses and whatnot. It was a very fun afternoon and I would’ve called it an excellent one already ‘cause I loved my Bday just for that, but… that wasn’t the end of it! :O

When I got home I had a dinner and some moar caek for me! Cake definitely was NOT a lie, I even had it twice! :D And when I went online again I found out a bunch of awesomesauce things my friends had setup for me, from tons of Bday wishes to funny videos and virtual cakes with challenges. Gosh, you gaiz! :,)

    Thank you, everyone! <3

  3. Last set of photos from Monday, 12 of November, in Espinho. I wish I had my camera with me that day instead of just my Android. Some of the scenes I saw would really benefit from a better lens and more pixels, so I could, you know, print it big. *sigh* Oh, well. Choices. Gotta live with ‘em.

  4. If there is such a thing as a soul, I believe people watching is good for it. | Espinho, Portugal.

  5. I’ve been passing through that place for years and this was the first time I saw those rocks that way in there. I don’t know if I’ve just been unaware of my surroundings to such a point, or if it’s a novelty and someone did it recently to, perhaps, humor themselves. In any case, it amused me, so here ya go.

  6. More photos from my visit to Espinho’s beach in the beginning of the week.

  7. I hate it when it’s Summer, but during Autumn and Spring this beach is lovely. Perfect place to sit down, smoke a cigarette, get some sun if he’s not shy, and think about life. And that’s (part of) what I did, this past Monday.

  8. A painted photo frame decorated with biscuit (Cold Porcelain).

  9. A slightly different shape than the pocket-money purses’, but still the same process. This one I use for my glasses, but one could use it for their pencils, etc.

  10. I made this a couple of months ago, give it or take, in a sewing workshop. It was the first time I even picked up a needle and I’m quite proud of myself of how this ended up. I’ll definitively give sewing another go.

  11. A brooch I’ve made with felt and a tiny pearl.

  12. A notebook my mother did for me last year for my birthday, because she knows I love notebooks and orange. I still haven’t written on it. It’s so pretty I don’t want to ruin it, and since I don’t really keep a diary anymore I’m not exactly sure what to put in it. Maybe poems, maybe a scrapbook, or an inspiration book. What say you?

  13. As I told you in the post about the Ornatos Violeta’ concert, Shini-san trusted me with some of his comic books for a while, for which I’m much happy and indebted to. I wanted to read comic books in paper for such a long time but couldn’t (for reasons, mostly monetary). :,)

We did a kind of book-crossing. I let him have my edition of the (in)famous 50 Shades of Grey. What? Don’t look at him like that! He’s a curious (and brave) boy! </white-knighting>

Unluckily for him, though, his mother snatched that book from his hands and is now reading it. Haha. Tough luck, Shini! xD

  14. Winter is coming. So last weekend I went back to Coimbra to gather some of my things I left there in the Summer. I had all my warmest winter clothes and shoes in there and I was also missing some stuff, like my Origami Yoda (see first pic); some books that I still want to read in their paperback editions despite my new gadget (a lot of them are still in there but I don’t have much space in here so I had to be selective); my thesis’ research dossiers (I really want to get back on track with that one - you know, before it’s too late and I lose my advisor and anthropology skills…); a wooden box my brother made for me; some pins and buttons; my deviantART collectibles (the fella plushie and the stress-balls); my bow-tie and a couple of ties; my berets AND my glasses’ holder (see 2nd pic). Now that my room is fully orange it makes even more sense I use it. And yes, those are my (reading) glasses. ^^

  15. This is a kind of a Cameo. It was my lil’ brother whom, with some help, did this ring in Biscuit. Pretty neat, uh? :D
